Great time at Camden Rocks Festival 2016, saw Cold in Berlin, The Carnabies, Restless Love, Carl Barat, Moses, Billy Brag there was some great Music, Restless Love were surprisingly good, look like they have come straight out of the eighties, reminded me of David lee Roth, great fun. Billy Brag was surprisingly funny, although there was one heckler going on about his original stuff all very dull.
Heavy Leather Promotions proudly presents ROADKILL, your monthly dose of Grindhouse Grooves, Leather Clad Licks and Roadhouse Rock. This month we’re showcasing some of the best stoner, doom and grunge that the London live music scene has to offer, it’s gonna get awful heavy.
“London’s best and only 100% pure garage night.” – Time Out London
With headliners Cold in Berlin
Powerhouse London doomsters are long time collaborators of Heavy Leather, but we’re welcoming them to their first ever Roadkill headline on July 3rd. Blisteringly distorted guitars and thunderous drums provide a dark backdrop to awesome gothic vocals. They’ve just released their third album on Candlelight Records to critical acclaim and they’ll be taking charge of Aces basement to show us how it’s done.
With support from Sewer Rats
Heavy Leather favourites and newest signing to FLUFFER RECORDS, Grimsby based Sewer Rats continue to blow us away at every show. Stoner jams and fast, overdriven blues with stomping beats. Heavy grooves, classic riffs and twisted, psychedelic rock n’ roll with vocals to match Lemmy himself.
And special guests Deathbeams
These guys massively impressed last November when they first played Roadkill, Deathbeams infuse hard-as-hell rock with otherworldly vocal crooning and smother it all in layers of guitar feedback and 90s grunge dirge. Not to be missed.
With very special guest DJ sets from our partners in crime – RAW MEAT.
