Photos from the Isle of Wight Music Festival with was great fun. We got to see some great acts, Up and coming and established. From Alison Moyet, Rag and Bone Man, The Pretenders, Judas, PINS. Thanks to Ray Jones for organising this.
The first day was pretty heavy rain, but from then on in it was hot and sunny which made it all worth while.

I came joint 2nd in the Canon Iconic image competition, with the photo, Pushed aside.
Pushed Aside was taken as I went in behind the riot police at the G8 riots in London. I had slipped in-between the riot police as they made their way down to the main headquarters of the protestors, I followed the Police through, exiting out straight out the other side of the protest and getting photos from the other side of the protest.
London space-punk pioneers CuT land in Hoxton as part of the Artrocker New Blood Festival ahead of the release of their new single ‘Page 59’, due for release through Ra-Ra Rok Records on 2nd February. Joyzine’s Rupert Hitchcox catches the psych-tinged garage rock action.
